With only 80 places available each year, competition to join Launchpad is high. Our application process is designed to be challenging as we only want to work with the best.
We’re the only university embedded venture studio in EMEA – no other gives you a fee-free Master of Science degree in combination with the typical venture studio support. We have a curated set of Strategic Partners made up of venture arms of technology companies and venture capital – we need candidates on our programme that match that calibre.
If you think you have what it takes to create a high-growth start-up then you’ve come to the right place.
Read through this website carefully as it is your primary source for admission information. You can apply in one of three application rounds. You may only apply once during any application cycle. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need help during the application process.
Minimum entry criteria
You’ll need to hold a 2.1 degree or higher in a relevant skillset, and commercial experience. If English is not your first language, then you’ll need to meet Falmouth University’s postgraduate requirements for English Language.
We are looking for those skilled in:
Business leadership, operations, and/or marketing
UI/UX and product design
Launchpad is about building businesses, so regardless of your specific skill set, you are expected to demonstrate a general understanding of the world of entrepreneurship and business.
Most of our cohort will have a minimum of five years business experience with evidence of rapid career progression, or experience with start-ups (running their own or working for one) or venture capital.
We welcome diversity in the cohort so applications from all nationalities and backgrounds are considered, but the standard is high, and we do not give application feedback.
Who we want
We want candidates who aren’t afraid to do things differently. You need to be prepared for one of the hardest challenges you’ll ever face and be ready to embark on a life-changing adventure.
We’re after candidates with the ambition, drive, vision, and commitment to solve problems and co-create a lasting, sustainable impact in partnership with us and our Strategic Partners
If you want the chance to see what you are made of, then this is it.
